Laid off this week, where do I start? - any advice?

I was let go as a paralegal this week and I am still in shock. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits.

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.
