Laid off this week, where do I start? - any advice?

I was let go as a payroll clerk this week and I am still in shock. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I have not told my family yet. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Ask for your final pay, unused leave and any documents in writing before you leave, if you still can.
