Laid off this week, where do I start? - any advice?

I lost my job as a customer-service rep and I am not sure what to do first. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits. Which steps were urgent?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

Ask for your final pay, unused leave and any documents in writing before you leave, if you still can.
