Laid off this week, where do I start? after 18 years as a marketing coordinator

They called a meeting on Friday and 18 of us were let go. I had been there 18 years. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
