Laid off this week, where do I start? after 15 years as a project coordinator

I lost my job as a project coordinator and I am not sure what to do first. Any experience at all would help. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits. Is there a checklist I should follow?

File for unemployment right away. Do not wait for severance decisions. The date you file can matter.
