Laid off this week, where do I start? after 15 years as a customer-service rep

They called a meeting on Friday and 15 of us were let go. I had been there 15 years. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I have not told my family yet. Which steps were urgent?

File for unemployment right away. Do not wait for severance decisions. The date you file can matter.
