Laid off this week, where do I start? after 13 years as an HR coordinator

They called a meeting on Wednesday and 13 of us were let go. I had been there 13 years. Any experience at all would help. I have not told my family yet. What did you do in the first week?

File for unemployment right away. Do not wait for severance decisions. The date you file can matter.
