Laid off this week, where do I start? after 10 years as a security officer

They called a meeting on Wednesday and 10 of us were let go. I had been there 10 years. I am in Buffalo, in case local advice matters. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due. Is there a checklist I should follow?
