Laid off this week, where do I start? - 9 months and counting

They called a meeting on Tuesday and 9 of us were let go. I had been there 9 years. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits. What did you do in the first week?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 9 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
