Laid off this week, where do I start? - 8 months and counting

They called a meeting on Friday and 8 of us were let go. I had been there 8 years. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.
