Laid off this week, where do I start? - 5 months and counting

I was let go as a logistics coordinator this week and I am still in shock. There are 7 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due.

File for unemployment right away. Do not wait for severance decisions. The date you file can matter.
