Laid off this week, where do I start? - 5 months and counting

They called a meeting on Wednesday and 9 of us were let go. I had been there 9 years. Any experience at all would help. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
