Laid off this week, where do I start?

They called a meeting on Monday and 5 of us were let go. I had been there 5 years. It has been weighing on me all week. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
