Laid off this week, where do I start? - 4 months and counting

They called a meeting on Friday and 9 of us were let go. I had been there 9 years. There are 9 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I have not told my family yet. What did you do in the first week?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
