Laid off this week, where do I start?

I lost my job as a sales associate and I am not sure what to do first. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I have not told my family yet. What did you do in the first week?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 7 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
