Laid off this week, where do I start? - 23 weeks in

They called a meeting on Thursday and 6 of us were let go. I had been there 6 years. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I have not told my family yet. What did you do in the first week?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
