Just got laid off, what should I do first? (Wichita)

I lost my job as a software tester and I am not sure what to do first. Any experience at all would help. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due. What did you do in the first week?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.
