Just got laid off, what should I do first? - what worked for you?

They called a meeting on Wednesday and 3 of us were let go. I had been there 3 years. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits. Is there a checklist I should follow?

I made a short list: benefits, bills, documents, and then my résumé. One thing each day kept me steady.
