Just got laid off, what should I do first? - what worked for you?

I was let go as a forklift operator this week and I am still in shock. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I have not told my family yet. Is there a checklist I should follow?

I made a short list: benefits, bills, documents, and then my résumé. One thing each day kept me steady.
