Just got laid off, what should I do first? (update)

I was let go as a delivery driver this week and I am still in shock. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I have not told my family yet. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
