Just got laid off, what should I do first? (update)

I lost my job as a project coordinator and I am not sure what to do first. It has been weighing on me all week. I have not told my family yet. Which steps were urgent?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
