Just got laid off, what should I do first? (update)

I was let go as a graphic designer this week and I am still in shock. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I have not told my family yet. What did you do in the first week?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

Ask for your final pay, unused leave and any documents in writing before you leave, if you still can.
