Just got laid off, what should I do first?, school bus driver here

I was let go as a school bus driver this week and I am still in shock. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due. What did you do in the first week?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
