Just got laid off, what should I do first? (Salt Lake City)

I lost my job as a customer-service rep and I am not sure what to do first. I worked as a customer-service rep before this. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits. Is there a checklist I should follow?

File for unemployment right away. Do not wait for severance decisions. The date you file can matter.
