Just got laid off, what should I do first? (Richmond)

I was let go as a forklift operator this week and I am still in shock. Any experience at all would help. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
