Just got laid off, what should I do first?, retail manager here

I lost my job as a retail manager and I am not sure what to do first. I have not told my family yet. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.

I made a short list: benefits, bills, documents, and then my résumé. One thing each day kept me steady.
