Just got laid off, what should I do first? (Raleigh)

I lost my job as a line cook and I am not sure what to do first. It has been weighing on me all week. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits.

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
