Just got laid off, what should I do first? (Portland)

I lost my job as a bookkeeper and I am not sure what to do first. I have not told my family yet. Which steps were urgent?

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
