Just got laid off, what should I do first?, paralegal here

They called a meeting on Wednesday and 14 of us were let go. I had been there 14 years. Thank you in advance. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due. What did you do in the first week?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
