Just got laid off, what should I do first?, medical assistant here

They called a meeting on Tuesday and 8 of us were let go. I had been there 8 years. I worked as a medical assistant before this. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
