Just got laid off, what should I do first?, HR coordinator here

They called a meeting on Thursday and 7 of us were let go. I had been there 7 years. I am in Hartford, in case local advice matters. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
