Just got laid off, what should I do first? - first time posting

I was let go as an IT help-desk technician this week and I am still in shock. I am in Atlanta, in case local advice matters. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due.

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.
