Just got laid off, what should I do first? - first time posting

They called a meeting on Wednesday and 14 of us were let go. I had been there 14 years. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due. What did you do in the first week?

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
