Just got laid off, what should I do first? - first time posting

I was let go as a web developer this week and I am still in shock. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits. What did you do in the first week?

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.

I made a short list: benefits, bills, documents, and then my résumé. One thing each day kept me steady.
