Just got laid off, what should I do first? - first time posting

I was let go as a home health aide this week and I am still in shock. I worked as a home health aide before this. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
