Just got laid off, what should I do first? - first time posting

I was let go as an HR coordinator this week and I am still in shock. Any experience at all would help. I have not told my family yet. Is there a checklist I should follow?

I made a short list: benefits, bills, documents, and then my résumé. One thing each day kept me steady.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
