Just got laid off, what should I do first?

I lost my job as a nurse's aide and I am not sure what to do first. I am in Tulsa, in case local advice matters. I have not told my family yet. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
