Just got laid off, what should I do first?

They called a meeting on Friday and 5 of us were let go. I had been there 5 years. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I have not told my family yet. Which steps were urgent?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 3 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
