Just got laid off, what should I do first?, call-centre agent here

I lost my job as a call-centre agent and I am not sure what to do first. I am in Albuquerque, in case local advice matters. I have not told my family yet. What did you do in the first week?

File for unemployment right away. Do not wait for severance decisions. The date you file can matter.
