Just got laid off, what should I do first? - any advice?

They called a meeting on Monday and 14 of us were let go. I had been there 14 years. It has been a long 13 weeks. I have not told my family yet.

Ask for your final pay, unused leave and any documents in writing before you leave, if you still can.
