Just got laid off, what should I do first? - any advice?

I was let go as a procurement assistant this week and I am still in shock. I worked as a procurement assistant before this. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.
