Just got laid off, what should I do first? - any advice?

I lost my job as a customer-service rep and I am not sure what to do first. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
