Just got laid off, what should I do first? - any advice?

I was let go as a dental hygienist this week and I am still in shock. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.
