Just got laid off, what should I do first? - any advice?

They called a meeting on Friday and 14 of us were let go. I had been there 14 years. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I have not told my family yet. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
