Just got laid off, what should I do first? - any advice?

I lost my job as a call-centre agent and I am not sure what to do first. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Ask for your final pay, unused leave and any documents in writing before you leave, if you still can.
