Just got laid off, what should I do first? - any advice?

They called a meeting on Tuesday and 9 of us were let go. I had been there 9 years. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
