Just got laid off, what should I do first? after 8 years as a pharmacy technician

I lost my job as a pharmacy technician and I am not sure what to do first. I worked as a pharmacy technician before this. I have not told my family yet. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.
