Just got laid off, what should I do first? after 6 years as a production planner

I lost my job as a production planner and I am not sure what to do first. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due. Which steps were urgent?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
