Just got laid off, what should I do first? after 4 years as a procurement assistant

They called a meeting on Thursday and 4 of us were let go. I had been there 4 years. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits. Is there a checklist I should follow?

File for unemployment right away. Do not wait for severance decisions. The date you file can matter.
