Just got laid off, what should I do first? after 11 years as a delivery driver

I lost my job as a delivery driver and I am not sure what to do first. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I have not told my family yet. What did you do in the first week?

Ask for your final pay, unused leave and any documents in writing before you leave, if you still can.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
